I was drawn to the health insurance industry over 13 years ago when I realized the significance of helping people understand their insurance options. I find it incredibly rewarding to work with our senior population. That is why I chose to specialize in Medicare. I am passionate about helping individuals find the plan that fits them the best. Health insurance can be confusing and in addition, there is a lot to stay on top of as things are always changing.

The best part of my job is that it doesn’t feel like a job… I LOVE what I do. The relationships I have formed with my clients have enriched my life and I consider it an honor and privilege to work with the incredible people in my community and all over the state. I understand the need for education to make the right choice for the best care at the best cost. A Washingtonian, I was born and raised in Stanwood, WA. I met my husband in college and we’ve been married 30 years. We have 2 daughters, one in college this year and the other is a senior in high school. My favorite things to do are traveling, spending time with friends, and being outside enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

I was born and raised here in Whatcom County and love everything about this area, which has so many opportunities to offer. I have been blessed to be able to call it home.

Stacie brought me into this industry seven years ago as her assistant and I immediately loved the gratification of helping families and individuals. This has been such a great opportunity for me and I am really enjoying helping people navigate this difficult, but necessary, part of their lives.

I now specialize in individual/family health insurance plans both direct and through our state exchange, but am also fully licensed for Medicare. In the past, I have personally navigated the health insurance quandary for both my family and as a small business owner. Frustrated with the lack of concise information and personal touch available in our state and local market, I chose to make a career change and open my own brokerage. I can now provide the type of service to others that I couldn’t find for my family and myself. I provide year round access, not just during open enrollment, so that you have your own full time advocate.

Born and raised in Whatcom County, I understand the needs of our local community. I am a member of the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce, Blaine Chamber of Commerce, Blaine and Ferndale Senior centers, the National Association of Health Underwriters and am actively involved with local volunteer efforts to serve our community.
