Medicare
Below are important things for you to note:
When is the next Annual Enrollment Period?
October 1st through October 14th, 2025: the new pricing and plan breakdowns are allowed to be discussed. We can review plans, but cannot take applications yet.
October 15th through December 7th, 2025: we can make changes to your existing plans if you want to move to a new one.
These changes will take effect January 1, 2026
All Medicare eligible individuals will fall into one of the next 3 categories:
1) You want to keep the same plan for the next year:
If you want to keep the same plan(s) you are on (assuming you have received a letter stating that it is still being offered and there are no changes that affect you), you will automatically renew. Please let us know if you would like to stay on your existing plan so we can make a note on your file.
2) You want to make changes:
Once we review your updated information you have provided, we will let you know if you are fine to stay where you are or if we should get together to go over your options. If you have changes to make regarding your prescription list, primary care physician, or which pharmacy you use, please contact us as soon as possible (hoping most will get back to us by October 5, 2025) so we can review your file prior to October 15, 2025.
3) You would like to review your plan to be sure you are getting the most out of the options for 2026:
If you feel that you have no changes to make, but would still like to review your options for 2026, we can review your file starting October 1, 2025 and make plan changes if needed October 15, 2025 through December 7, 2025 for a January 1, 2026 effective date.
We will start accepting appointments for the October 15th to December 7th Annual Enrollment Period starting on September 1, 2025. We would love to get you on the calendar!
As always, we are happy to have you come into our office, do an initial visit by phone, or meet with you in your home (if the prior options are not convenient for you).
